Gold Coast Tattoo Artist

Your Next Tattoo Awaits

Specialising in Fine Line, Illustrative & Ornamental Tattoos.

Whether it’s your very first tattoo or a new addition to your collection, my priority is to create a seamless and collaborative experience. I believe that a great tattoo begins with a strong partnership between artist and client. My approach is to work closely with you from our initial conversion to the final design, ensuring your vision is brought to life exactly as you imagined it.

More Than Just Ink

Your art, your story

As a tattoo artist, my passion lies in creating custom designs that are as unique as the people who wear them. I believe every tattoo should be a collaborative process, resulting in a piece of art that you will love and cherish.

I specialise in creating detailed and delicate fine line tattoos, which are perfect for minimalist designs and intricate details. I also love to tell a story through ink with illustrative tattoos, where I can bring creative and unique ideas to life. For those who appreciate decorative art, I excel at crafting ornamental tattoos that feature intricate patterns and shapes designed to flow with the body.

My skills aren’t limited to these styles; I am also passionate about exploring other custom tattoo designs. Whatever your vision, I am here to help you bring it to life!

Before, During & Aftercare

The life and vibrancy of your new tattoo depends on how well you care for it, from the moments leading up to your sessions to the crucial weeks of the healing process. Following these instructions is essential to ensure your new artwork heals beautifully and stays vibrant for years to come. I’ve put together these guidelines to help you prepare for your tattoo session, and to ensure a smooth successful recovery, protecting your new piece of art.

Before your tattoo

Preparation is key! Before your appointment, stay hydrated and eat a substantial meal. Ensure the area to be tattooed is clean. I can handle hair removal if needed, as shaving or waxing before your tattoo can irritate your skin. Avoid wearing fake tan on the area where you want to get the tattoo.

Do not consume alcohol or take blood-thinning medication for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Dress comfortably! Wear loose clothing suitable for the area being tattooed. For instance, if you’re getting a leg tattoo, wear shorts, or for arm tattoos, a singlet or short sleeve shirt.

Feel free to bring a drink, such as water or electrolytes, or even snacks if it’s a long tattoo session. This helps keep your blood sugar stable and your energy up.

Also, feel free to bring entertainment like a book, Kindle, or headphones. This will keep you comfortable and relaxed and can distract you from any discomfort during the tattoo process.

The most important thing while you’re in the chair is to communicate with me. Don’t hesitate to speak up if you need a break, feel uncomfortable, or have any questions. I’m here to make you feel comfortable and relaxed.

Leave the wrap on for a few hours, afterwards, remove the protective wrap and let the tattoo breathe. Wear loose clothing that won’t rub against the tattoo to prevent irritation and friction. Do not scratch or pick at the tattoo.

When it starts to get itchy, apply a thin layer of a fragrance-free, hypoallergenic moisturiser or Lucas Papaw Ointment.

Keep your first few showers brief and use lukewarm water. Gently wash the tattooed area by hand with a gentle, fragrance-free soap, and pat it dry with a clean towel. Avoid soaking the tattoo.

Do not use harsh or scented products, scrub the area with a washcloth or loofah, or apply a direct stream of water to the fresh ink.

Continue to keep the tattoo clean with gentle soap and water, and moisturise it with a recommended product. Avoid sun exposure, swimming and wearing tight clothing over the tattoo.

Do not pick or scratch the area once it starts to peel, and don’t allow it to come into contact with dirty surfaces. Stay out of pools, hot tubs, rivers, lakes and other bodies of water while the tattoo is healing to prevent infection.
